Hi

Im 34 weeks pregnant and supposed to be going to parents for Xmas dinner but a family member had norovirus on Friday and now I’m really anxious as I don’t want to risk catching it in case it puts me into premature labour or makes me really poorly (know someone who’s had a baby prem when they got food poisoning)

any advice?
thanks

I think symptoms show within 48 hours so you should be okay now. My friend had it in the third trimester and it was unpleasant but she had no complications.

Go by the school rules - if they've gone 48hrs since their last explusion at either end, they're fine to be around. If you're really worried though, don't use their towels!

There are some awful bugs around this year! My DD had one and it was a week later before the rest of us at home showed symptoms and I had sickness and diarrhoea for 16 days, 11 of which I was in hospital, please don't risk it x

I wouldn't risk it.
