I'm expecting my first baby and have been quite anxious about the gender, so curious to see any predictions on the scan. Either way I am hoping to continue with the healthy pregnancy 😊

um, no. That’s a girl.

Ruthietuthie · 24/12/2023 22:36

I think it's a girl, because you can clearly see the little hamburger and bun shape...

stonedaisy · 24/12/2023 22:43

I think girl as the nub is horizontal

mumoftwo6 · 25/12/2023 08:29

Nub is raised and split. Just a guess 😂💙

Sleepsleepsleep123 · 25/12/2023 19:46

The FB group strictly nub theory is good for guessing!

mayashep · 26/12/2023 00:20

Yeah I've heard about the nub theory but the baby was moving so much on the scan I wasnt sure if the leg is in the way 😂

Maybe, I wasn't sure because I've seen apparently the shape of the skull could hint girl 😅

I am usually terrible at these (can't even tell which bit is the head) but, in this one, I suddenly understood what people meant when they said look for the hamburger. So I am still sticking with girl. In fact, I am extremely confident you are having a girl (but could also be completely wrong!).

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 26/12/2023 00:36

I would definitely guess girl

BungleandGeorge · 26/12/2023 00:40

I also think the nub is raised so boy

mayashep · 09/01/2024 07:03

Had my 16 week gender scan yesterday, it's a little girl. So turns out guessing at 12 weeks can possibly be fairly accurate 😂

Thank you for updating, @mayashep! This is the first one I have ever confidently got right!
Wishing you a safe and happy pregnancy with your little girl.
