Hi all, I do have another thread in conception but I am just desperate to know what other people's outcomes where on this.
This is quite a long one so I apologise in advance.
I have recently come off the mini pill, I had my withdrawal bleed , 34 day cycle then (current cycle) was 43 days.
On day 43 I got what I thought was a faint positive test but started bleeding later that day so assumed AF had finally arrived. This was Monday 11th December , I don't have heavy AFs anyway so it looked normal for me. Anyway by Wednesday the bleeding had reduced to spotting and I was feeling very nauseous, so I tested thinking I was probably being paranoid but was a very clear positive.
I kept testing up until the following Monday 18th December and every test very positive . So I called my GP who referred me to the EPU , I was booked for a scan this Wednesday.
The night before the EPU visit I had some spotting and some left sided pain (not. Awful resolved with painkillers).
Attended my scan and they could find nothing in my womb , but saw something on my left side which they thought was an ectopic pregnancy was measuring about 12mm
Was taken for surgery that day , came out of surgery to be told that it was not ectopic but they had found a cyst on my left and on my right looked as if there has been something there but wasn't there now and they was not concerned . They had confirmed during the scan that I had ovulated from my
Left side.
I was allowed home after surgery on Wednesday and told my HCG levels where 400, and this is why they won't be seeing anything on a scan currently as they need it to be around 1500, so had repeat bloods yesterday.
My HCG level yesterday was 708, so whilst its risen it has not doubled as they would like to see in a viable pregnancy.
I have to go back for more bloods tomorrow morning to see if they changed , they should then know what to do moving forward .
I had spotting from Wednesday right up until yesterday night but I'm not sure if this is due to surgery or what at this point . I've had no more left sided pain or cramping .
I'm just so confused as to what is going on, at this point I think it's highly unlikely everything is ok but would like to know if any one else has gone through this ?
Has anyone had surgery to be told it's not ectopic and later found out it is?
I'm honestly so scared and lost and don't know what to do .
