Hi,

I have a few questions and was wondering if anyone could answer, we just had our 12 week scan.

Firstly, any reason Baby might not be moving much. They seem to be in the same position as the scan we had a few weeks ago and didn't move during this scan either.

Secondly, does anyone know what the bit on the scan that looks like it's coming from baby's mouth is? My partner thinks it might be an arm or baby drinking some amniotic fluid but unsure.

Thirdly, is there a nub in this picture. I don't really understand what I'm looking for but welcome any guesses into the gender if you guys can tell.

Some babies are just calmer than others and just because theyre in the same place twice doesn't mean they haven't been in 100 positions in between scans 🙂. I find private scans much more informative, ultrasound direct give you little videos to have too but I find I understand and see alot more of baby at those than I do with the NHS ones. Looks like babies arm by the mouth to me! Not sure about nub tho sorry x
