I know its different for everyone but I'm just trying to get an idea
How long after baby passed away in womb did you start to bleed? Days / weeks. And how far on were you
Did you definitely bleed or did you have to go back for help to start it

I am so sorry if you are in this situation,
I had a mc around 6/7 weeks. I bled non stop for 5 months mostly light- I was repeatedly told this was normal but had a d&c at 5 months which stopped the bleeding.

It took my body 4 weeks to start bleeding naturally, then stopped too soon and needed misprosotol to help finish passing the pregnancy x

I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks. Had a scan at 7 weeks, saw the heartbeat etc. then went for my 12 week scan and it had died somewhere inbetween. I miscarried naturally, taking just painkillers. It was horrible for the first 12hrs then turned into a heavy period that lasted for about a week. No medical help. Awful experience. X

Took my body 6 weeks to start to bleed, then thought I had miscarried three days after that, then four weeks later I had surgery to remove the incomplete miscarriage. So 10 weeks in total, but I ‘only’ knew for 7 weeks.

Timeline: Found out at 9 week scan it had stopped at 6+. Started bleeding just before 12 weeks. Had the miscarriage naturally 3 days after the bleeding started. Then 3+ weeks later I still tested positive so I opted for surgery at 16 weeks.

I don’t think mine is typical though.
