Pregnancy and undercooked sausage!?

Need advice.. Do these sausages look undercooked to you?

20 weeks pregnant and ate half of these this morning 🤮
anxious!

They look fine. Were they cold?

Were they hot inside?

They look cooked to me. You’d have noticed if they weren’t, surely?

I think they look fine, although it’s hard to say from a picture. Were they cooked correct amount of time till piping hot?

They were warm, not boiling.
bought them in a farm cafe.

they were soft, but not sure if it's because they were greasy.
but bits looked pink to me?

sorry.. I do get Overly anxious and when I looked online it said you could get taxoplasmosis from undercooked sausage. Which didn't help!

I have tried ringing my midwife to discuss it.

They'll be fine, they'd procedures they'll have to follow I worked at Greggs and we had to probe a sausage from each batch cooked to check they got to the correct temperature the we had to also check the hot unit and the we only kept them in that for 1 hour. I think the rules are pretty strict.

The cafe is not going to serve undercooked sausages. I think you need to talk to your midwife about the anxiety rather than the sausages

My midwife is well aware of my anxiety.
I try not to be anxious but can't help it

I got how you feel with the anxiety to me whenever I cook sausages they always looks slightly pink! the outside looks cooked to me!

@Enfys93 it’s hard to tell from the photos, but to me they look ok. Hope you’re feeling ok, I know it can be worrying, I get the same, especially when our friend Google shares their many thoughts. I was eating a plum a few weeks ago and mid way through looked down at it and noticed a maggot (sorry I know that’s disgusting). I have no idea if I ate any of it or not. Anyway, everything was completely fine, baby is fine, and your body does a lot to get rid of anything it doesn’t want to give the baby.
