39+1 wks & 2nd sweep - Back ache

Hi everyone, hoping someone can give me a-bit of advice. I had my second sweep at 1pm today (my last one was Thursday - didn't really do much) and now at 17:30pm i am having back pain and stomach tightness every 15 minutes or so.

MW said i was 1cm dilated, cervix was soft and stretchy and was forward and did manage to go right through and feel babies head which on the first sweep she couldn't do that.

Is this just because i've had a sweep and it's normal to have afterwards or is this labour starting????

Unfortunately it’s impossible to say, you’ll have to wait and see if it progresses. Get on your ball and do hip rotations, walk sideways up the stairs, keep hydrated. Hopefully it turns into labour for you
