Diarrhoea 8weeks pregnant

Hi everyone please help! Iv had 2 previous miscarriages this year and I’m currently 8+2 in this pregnancy. Other than sore boobs occasionally and feeling very nauseous and tired I have been ok. Went to work today feeling ok then all of a sudden went really hot and feeling faint and had diarrhoea. Not had anymore since earlier but I feel so rotten with the nausea on top. Is this a normal symptom or have I got a bug or start of a miscarriage? Thankyou x

I had diarrhoea everyday for 3 weeks from about 5-8 weeks pregnant. It does sound like it could also be a bug but I’ve never heard of diarrhoea being a sign of miscarriage. I know that constipation is more common in pregnancy but I haven’t really had that at all. It’s either been normal or diarrhoea.

Thanks @Quickredfox @Puddle13 I had constipation a few weeks ago but that has now gone after I started eating better. I’m just fed up of feeling so rubbish with nausea and now this on top 😩

That does sound a bit more like a bug to me, but all of those can also be normal pregnancy symptoms. Definitely not an indicator of miscarriage.

Try to rest for a couple of days, see if you start feeling better. It is flu season so you might have a virus.

I had a sinus infection for at least a week before I realised because I just assumed everything was pregnancy related 😅 the sinus pain when eating gave it away in the end

I kept getting an upset tummy at around 7-10 weeks, healthy pregnancy. I think it can just be hormones.

I had diarrhoea as well as vomiting as part of my morning sickness in my healthy pregnancies. I never had it with my miscarriages.

Now your past 8 weeks have you considered an early scan? Once you see a heartbeat at 8 week as you have an excellent chance of carrying to full term.

I’ve had diarrhoea through my pregnancy so it could just be a symptom although like others say from what I read constipation is more common. It could also be a bug.

It sounds like it could be a bug - make sure your drinking extra water as dehydration can be fatal for babies xxx feel better

Could be hormones or coincidence. Drink plenty and eat what you can.

Thanks everyone, still no more diarrhoea but the nausea is worse than ever and I feel rotten. Can’t get rid of that horrible feeling in my tummy when the nausea is worse. Going to try some dry toast for my lunch x
