Gestational sac, yolk sac but no pole and bleeding? Help?

Hi everyone!

Second pregnancy here, first resulted in my now 2.5 toddler! My pregnancy with him was fairly uneventful except a bleed at 7 weeks which obviously ended up fine. According to LMP and a 28 day cycle, I’m around 6wk4d, but if it’s based on a 35 day cycle (which mine can often be - it fluctuates between 27-35) I’m 5 weeks.

With this pregnancy I found out suuuuuper early. Like, it was negative the day before then so so so faintly positive. It gradually darkened. I first tested faintly positive on the evening of the 2nd December.

I started spotting this Saturday night after my work Christmas party. It was brown. It became pinky/red throughout Sunday, then faded back to brown. I took a clear blue test that said 2-3 weeks. I don’t feel that matches. It should be 3+?

This morning I had a very early scan. They saw a gestational sac, yolk sac but no fetal pole. She said it measured under 6 weeks, and she thought 4-5 weeks. I’ve been booked in for two weeks to check progression. There was red blood about an hour after the scan. I’m hoping this was irritation from the probe. I always bleed after smears etc. it’s now back to brown.

The scan, the clear blue and the bleeding is leaving me with a bit of a bad feeling about all of this. Does anyone have any experiences with anything similar to this? I have no idea what to think!

Thank you! I know I’m still early but I just feel…off about it I suppose. Hoping for the best but expecting the worse. Just wondered if anyone else had been through similar with either outcome!
