Itchy boobs - mainly nipples

I’m 24 weeks and throughout the is pregnancy I have had itchy nipples. It is sooooo irritating.

I had zero symptoms in my first pregnancy and I feel like I do not have a reference point as I seem to have so many symptoms from this second one 10 years later.

Has anyone had irritatingly itchy nipples and how do you deal with it. My thinking is that it has something to do with milk production but I keep breaking the skin with the itching (sorry tmi).

I've had this, it's really irritating! I'm 37 weeks and nipples have been chapped with broken skin for a few weeks, but I've recently started using some nipple balm which has helped. There are a few brands but the Weleda one seems to be working for me at the moment. Hope you can find some relief!

Is it the orange stuff that's drying?

Put lanishoh or whatever the lanolin one is called on a couple of times a day.
A cool cabbage leaf or two can help.
