Uncooked chicken curry ready meal

Hi I am only 6 weeks pregnant and have just eaten a chicken curry ready meal which had only been cooked for half the time. When my husband said it was ready I had let it sit so thought that was why it was cold and a weird texture...but no he had cooked it half the time. Does anyone know if it will be unsafe for the baby? V scared of another miscarriage and trying to avoid Google!

You definitely won't cause a miscarriage from eating this dish - don't worry about that.

The worst that will happen is you being sick, but it's unlikely too, the chicken curry will have been cooked originally, you weren't eating raw chicken.

Hope you feel reassured!

Came to say the same as above

Sure you’ll be fine anyway but food poisoning doesn’t cause miscarriages

Ready meals are so ultra processed and also they’re already cooked? You could eat one not heated up and be fine. Miscarriage are mostly caused by chromosomal abnormalities. Although for your own health consider dropping the ready meals

Thank you all very much for your reassurance. I think my main concern was the chicken element and as you can probably tell, I don't ever eat ready meals so had no idea they were already totally cooked. I am a total bag of nerves at the mo!
