18 Week Bump. BOY OR GIRL????

My first pregnancy and I'm interested to know if it's a boy or girl.

Heart rate is 148bpm.

Does the bump look like a boy or girl bump?

Sex can’t be determined from your bump, the heart rate, your symptoms or any other myth. If you want to know you need to book a scan

Thanks.. yeah I have a Gender Scan booked just was interested to see what people thought. Iv heard High bump = Girl
Low Bump = Boy

So just interested to see what people thoughts are if there Bump looked similar and what they had etc..

There is no way of determining this by looking at a bump.

@Jempowis12 others will tell you low is girl and high is boy. I had two low and one high bump, all three are girls. Same with heart rate, there’s no correlation between heart rate and sex and you’ll hear different things about what each is supposed to mean.

Bump makes no difference, it’d just what position the baby is in, they don’t sit differently for each sex, and I think that old wives tale was more for final trimester anyway. Same for heart rate, absolutely no difference. Good luck for the scan though! I hope you don’t have too long to wait
