Hi all,

I have had symptoms which have come and gone throughout the first trimester but since yesterday afternoon (when I was 9+5) everything seems to have stopped. No nausea, boobs aren’t sore anymore, my legs aren’t feeling achy anymore. I can’t help but feel that this is a bad sign. I also noticed some snotty discharge with a slight yellow/green tinge yesterday. I’m really panicking as this is my 5th pregnancy after 4 losses. This is the furthest we’ve been but before 2 of my earlier losses, this happened and I started bleeding about a week later.

Has anyone had a similar experience?

Thanks x

Try not to panic. The placenta takes over around 10 weeks so that could account for your loss of symptoms.

If you’ve had other losses I’d contact your EPU or were you under a consultant for recurrent loss?

Thanks @Pollywoddles. We were but then we were referred for IVF. I might give the EPU a call this morning and see if they can help.

Oh OP. That's a tough place to be. As the last poster said, it could mean something or nothing.
Please do get in touch with the EPU.

Best of luck 💐

@EarringsandLipstick thank you. I’ve gone ahead and booked a private scan for today. Me and husband decided it was worth it.

@JLB234 At this stage in the pregnancy it could be normal but best to get a scan to reassure you! Hope it goes well and let us know how it went.

Just had our scan, baby is measuring at 10+1 and it’s little heart was beating strongly. Very glad we decided to go for it and book it. Thank you all for your advice and kind words ♥️

That's brilliant news! I'm so delighted - I was honestly a little worried having read your post (and having had a similar experience many years ago that didn't have a positive outcome) but didn't want to say that.

Really happy for you, especially after your losses. 💕

@JLB234 I am so pleased to hear that baby is well!!! This is excellent news! Having been through the same worry I can only understand how overjoyed you must be!!
Have a lovely pregnancy!
