Hi everyone

I’m 25+4 and have had a rock solid bump for a while now, doesn’t ease off or come and go just always rock solid. People have commented that I have a big bump for the weeks I am and bump is sitting very low down (I am usually a size 8/10 and have narrow hips). Stomach sides and under belly button feel crampy and almost like I’ve done 50 sit ups and muscles are sore - I assume it’s all normal as I’m getting bigger?

I also have such bad pelvis pains, coccyx pain when sitting, hip pain through the night I change sides frequently through the night, I pee myself every time I sneeze / cough (sorry TMI!) pelvis just feels on fire and doesn’t ease off making walking or even gentle exercise a mission. I feel a huge pressure in between my legs like a weighing down feeling. Is this all normal part of the pregnancy process?

I’ve been using hot water bottles on my back and have two pregnancy pillows now but not overly helping.

If anyone has had anything similar and knows of any good tips and tricks that’ll help lessen the pains I’d be very grateful ☺️

Have you seen a midwife? When my bump was rock solid it was actually contractions (you may be having Braxton hicks). The other pain you describe sounds like SPD. When I had SPD the things that worked best were physio and acupuncture.

I have an appointment on Friday with midwife so I’ll raise it again then, so far appointments have been short and sweet checking blood pressure and telling me everything is normal and not to worry so I’m expecting similar.

I didn’t even realise braxton hicks could happen so soon. Thanks for physio suggestion, I’ll have a look in my local area. Did you see any physio or did they specialise in pregnancy?
