Just took a test this morning

So I’m kind of panicking at the moment because I’m pretty sure I can see a very faint line on the positive side. I’m 30 and in a relationship and my partner and I want to have a child but not for at least another 4 to 5 years so this is making me panic. Am I pregnant?

That looks like it might be an early positive. I'd test again in two days to see if it gets stronger- do you know whereabouts you are in your cycle?

Flo just says I’m on cycle day 44. My period is 7 days late today.

I wouldn't say that is a positive, get the clear blue digital one that says pregnant or not.

@Bamf102 I'd say that's too faint to be an actual positive if you're a week late! Clearblue are terrible for evap lines, it could be that. I'd either get a digital as PP suggested, or even a cheap test with pink dye might be more reliable ☺️

There is definitely a line there, but it could be an evap line. Like others have said, I would expect a strong line at a week late. How long after you used the test did you take the picture and how quickly did the line come up?

It came up within the 3 minutes it said to wait and I took the pictures maybe 10 minutes later

Get a pink dye test like first response, those are a bit more reliable

If it came up within the timeframe then it could be an early positive- I think some people just don’t tend to get very strong lines. Or you could have ovulated late.

I would try and get hold of another test to put your mind at rest. A digital one or one with pink dye in it. Fingers crossed it’s negative if that’s the result you’d like.

It's very feint for 7 days late, I'd take a more definitive test like a pink dye, or even a digital at that stage, hope you're ok, it'll all work out!

There’s definitely a line and it doesn’t look like the usual clear blue evap lines but it is extremely faint for 7 days late. You may have ovulated late though. Definitely try a pink dye test as it’s more obvious if it’s an evap on these. I found boots own brand early detection plastic cases tests great.

hopefully it’s just an evap if you’re not ready for a baby yet but it’s best to know sooner rather than later either way.

Get a pink dye test and test again, the line does look very faint considering your 7 days late

Update: I took a digital test earlier and it was negative so I’m happy :)
