When to go for early scan

Just that really-around 6/7 weeks pregnant (I have long cycles so LMP isn’t accurate tool) and wondering when best to go for an early scan. I’d like to know everything’s developing as it should but can’t cope with the ‘it’s too soon to tell…come back again’. I lost my little girl in January at 8 years old very suddenly so emotions are very heightened and I’d like to know sooner rather than later. Thank you ❤️

8 weeks is a good time. Even if you turn m up for an 8 week scan and are slightly earlier a heartbeat should be detected. I am so sorry to hear about your daughter xx

I'm so sorry for your loss, I can hardly imagine what you've been going through. I think 8 weeks is a good time for an early scan.

I would go at 8 weeks as sadly many miscarriages happen between 6 and 8 weeks so it seems like an important milestone to pass and by then there should be a heartbeat.

I am really sorry about your tragic loss, I can't even begin to imagine what you have been through.
