Hi

Not sure if anyone can help.
i work full time but also have a house that i let out on the side(not for an awful lot of money!) I have this income included on my tax return but am not deemed self employed I don’t think.
will I be entitled to SMP or not?
my company will apply for SMP I assume but I don’t know if it’s valid if I make some income during that time (not enough to live off!)

thanks

Yes, you are entitled to SMP for every job you work (if you have two jobs, you actually are entitled to 2 lots of SMP) so your rental income won't affect the SMP you get from your employment.

Rental income won’t affect your SMP.
