HG - at my wits end - can I combine tablets

I have terrible HG and I honestly feel like I can’t go on. A couple of days of metoclopramide helped at first but now nausea taking over again and breaking through. Can I combine this with other tablets? I have promethazine

When I had HG I would take one type of tablet for 2 days, then switch to another type for 2 days then back to the first. That was the only way to keep on top of it.

Apparently they aren't meant to stop the nausea just stop you from vomiting

The most sensible thing to do would be to ring your GP and ask for a telephone appointment to discuss

There are lots of options - if what you have been given is not working, go back to the GP. There is a ladder of options - you just need to work your way up until you find something that works. I had combinations a number of times.
