Hey everyone!

I'm at a spa hotel for a few days chill and I was wondering what everyone's thoughts are on using the hot tub? I'm 15 weeks and never last very long in them anyway but don't want to be silly... what are your thoughts please?

I LOVE spas and find them relaxing / essential 😬😬

i think you need to make a call on the day regarding the temperature. essentially it’s dangerous if your core temperature goes up so hot hot tubs are a no no.
sauna is a no no too 😫

I used hot tubs (that were more tepid than hot) for 10-15 mins at a time. I never felt overly warm at any stage.
I think it’s fine as long as you are cautious / sensible

Seems to be seen as alright now after 12 weeks. Just for short periods and with a temp of 35°c.

Enjoy!

The risk is overheating more easily. So when pregnant I do go in hot tubs but not the really roasting ones, and sit on the edge with legs in, then maybe 3-4 mins only rest of body. But be aware of how you feel and if you start to feel warm, get out. Drink plenty of water too.
