Any positive stories after miscarriage? Is egg quality the problem?

Hello

I'm 34. Been TTC for 1st baby. On cycle 3 (April) I got pregnant but this ended in a chemical pregnancy. 6 months later I got pregnant again on cycle 9 (October) but this ended in a natural miscarriage at 7.5 weeks.

I am not sure how to interpret this - getting pregnant twice in 9 months I feel suggests my fertility is OK, but the miscarriages perhaps suggest my egg quality is not (assume the losses were due to chromosomal problems).

Not sure if anyone has had similar experiences and ended up managing to go on to have a healthy pregnancy? Should I be doing anything to improve my egg quality? Currently taking Ovum supplement, omega 3 with DHA, vitamin D.

Personally, I would give it a little longer. At the same age, I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks, followed by a chemical. A couple months later, fell pregnant with DD1, uneventful pregnancy (other than bad 'morning' sickness). 2.5 years later, conceived DD2, no further miscarriages or chemicals, another uneventful pregnancy (again, other than morning sickness). I was taking folic acid and vitamin D in the winter, but nothing else.

The only thing I would say is perhaps track ovulation for a couple of cycles if you haven't already, just so you know if you tend to ovulate early/late/right in the middle of your cycle.
