Period when pregnant

Ladies I need some advice! I was convinced this month I was pregnant. Bloated, pains , sore boobs etc.

I came on my period the day before it was due but it’s not been at all as heavey as it usually is. Sorry TMI but usually I wear a tampon and pad and still leak through within the hour for the first day, then it gets lighter as the days go on. Lasting 5-7 days. This time on day one I wore one tampon all day while at work . All day! Then yesterday day two seemed I got away with a pad and no tampon, still had blood coming out and it was red. Today day 3 and lighter again.

so I’m bleeding and it is red but not as heavey as normal however I’d still say heavy for implantation bleed. Also suffering with headaches!

am I clutching at straws?!

Only way you will know is test, I say this as I've had so many months when I was convinced and my period was late by days or seemed "off", the boobs hurting.. all sorts. The time I got pregnant the only symptom I had was hunger when I woke, nothing else at all!

Ya. I did not know I was pregnant until the following month.

I went for a early scan this week and turned out I was a month ahead of where I thought I was because I'd had what I thought was a period at about 3-4 weeks. It was a bit lighter and shorter than usual but not massively so, and only now I think back to it do I realise it was different from normal.

Wow that’s amazing! I certainly will! I just didn’t want to face another negative test yet so I’ll hold of a couple days and do one :)

Happened to me. Started my period at the usual time and it was heavy enough to need a tampon but basically only for one day. I also had the same headache/migraine that I always get on the first day of my period. Then it just tapered off and was much shorter than usual. I actually took an early response pregnancy test after the weird period and it came out negative (in hindsight it was during the daytime and I had lots of water beforehand so it wasn't EMU). The only strange symptom during that time is that I developed a total aversion to coffee and chocolate which I normally have every day (coffee tasted too bitter and chocolate was too sweet). So I had an inkling something was up and got morning sickness symptoms two weeks later. The result of that is now watching iPad next to me!

No way! Did the headaches come and go? I’ve been having the headaches and waking up at night feeling unwell I just don’t feel myself and my boobs feel odd wich usually goes when I get my period but this time it hasn’t!

Never had headaches. Other signs etc came and went at times.

Was your period still red? Mines red but just not as heavey or been as long!

So after the two days of bleeding but lighter than usual, I had day 3 nothing. Then today technically day 4 some red blood when I whipped but non on a pad and now it’s gone brown.

stil l don’t want to face a BFN! Does this sound promising or am clutching at straws

Just test and out yourself out of your misery. Really hope it’s positive

I had a 3 day "period" red bleeding but a lot lighter than usual when I was pregnant with ds2. I tested two days later and it was positive.

I tested with a clear blue and negative! I wanna say that Hopefuly it’s to early to tell or that clear blue aren’t that good anyway. But I’m sure it would have showed!
