Hi everyone,

I have two miscarriages already to this year, but I have had a healthy son (2 years old) before this.

I am pregnant again, only 5 weeks.

The implantation cramps I got were soooo intense and to my right side...I have had a cyst before (found recently in August) so I actually presumed it was this acting up but the doctor said it must have been implantation pains as it was 9DPO.

Anyway...I am cramping again...nothing major but it is focused on the same side...I had no implantation bleeding or anything of the kind.

It comes and goes, it is not there all the time.

I am nervous wreck...I only had a D&C in August...it was a missed miscarriage.

I wonder if anyone has experienced similar and had a successful pregnancy..I am spiralling a bit!

Thanks!

I'm currently 12 weeks and I was getting harsh cramping very early and still do now.
I had pains in my lower left on and off for a solid week
Had my 12 week scan today and baby is fine.
Pregnancy cramps can be alarmimg, don't stress yourself about it, i know easier said then done.
You'll be okay girly🙏🏼🫶🏼❤️

As a woman, I have experienced cramps and huge amounts of bleeding and still carried that pregnancy to full term. I've also had bleeding with minimal cramping and had a miscarriage.

As a midwife I have helped literally hundreds of women with symptoms of the sort and almost none of them with cramps + no bleeding had a miscarriage.

It sounds like you may need to get a hold of your mind.

I know that that was what I needed when I was in my fourth pregnancy and started having spotting (this pregnancy also went full term-normal).

I embraced the fact that my thoughts would not have a huge effect on whether or not I would continue to carry the pregnancy. But I knew they effected how I experienced the pregnancy overall.

I personally did a deepest fear inventory every day for a couple weeks and the thoughts that lingered, I turned around into affirmations.

Facing my fears was what ultimately kept me from a nervous breakdown.

Hope this helps.

Oh god I cramped SO much in early pregnancy with both of my DD’s. It used to worry me senseless. For what it’s worth, I’ve had 2 miscarriages and 2 pregnancies resulting in DD’s and i definitely remember cramping more in my pregnancies with DD’s. I’d say 5-9/10 weeks were the worst for cramping for me.

So sorry to hear about your previous losses and wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy 💐 x

Thanks, everyone!

I think I am just so nervous...perhaps over analysing a bit...Hopefully all will work out. I suppose after the two miscarriages this year your mind is wired to think it is going to happen again...I guess I do need a mindset shift...super hard to do though.

I'm 7 weeks and have had intense cramping throughout this whole time.
I saw sure something was wrong as the pain was so bad it would keep me awake at night.
I had a scan today and everything looks fine with baby so far 🤞

It might also be worth having a reassurance scan.
I remember my midwife saying the pain needs to be as bad or worse then period cramps for them to be concerned. Accompanied by blood then yes get right down to A&E or EPAU

By the way , I too had this weird dull stabbing pain off to my right side. I'd convinced myself I was having an ectopic
Maybe it's just from organs stretching
