This couldn't have come at a worse time. Here I was thinking i was in a comfortable position to take may leave and not to worry that contract won't be extended because of hubbys job, but just last week he was informed that he won't have one by 3rd week December. This is such a blow, we have 2 little ones too. I feel so stressed but i know it's not good for baby so I'm trying to relax.

So sorry you’re going through this! I know it’s easy to get stressed, have you sat down together to try and make a plan? You may feel less stressed with some kind of “plan” in mind, I know I do! X

Are you in an industry that has contractors and/or recruitment agencies? Would get on them quickly and do some contracting work while you wait for baby to be born, then try to get back to work as soon as you feel ready afterwards - perhaps through contracting work again.

do they know you are pregnant?

Sorry you're going through this.

How far along are you and did your employers know you were pregnant when they announced your redundancy?

How easy will it be for your husband to find another job?
