Helllo all.. I'm currently in hospital with preeclampsia and doctors have now prescribed labetalol 200mg 4 times a day (so every 6 hours).. I honestly can't fault how kind everyone has been BUT I am not getting this medication on time 😞 It was due at 5am and it's now nearly half 6 and nothing.. I've now got a banging headache. Don't like to keep moaning but I'm just worrying this will have an effect on me and the baby. Do I call and ask for it? Do I wait? I know they're super busy. Thank you

Yes call, tell them you have a headache and your meds are due. Then when the day team reviews you later ask if you can do your own meds

Thank you. Yes I'm more than happy to take it myself.. Which would solve the issue.

They may or may not let you, but it's definitely worth asking
