28 weeks little movement

Hello everyone. I am 28 weeks tomorrow with my first baby. I am just abit concerned about movement. I barely feel my baby love, and I really have to concentrate to feel her. Like I have to go sit in a quiet room and kind of zone out with my hand on my tummy.

I do have an anterior placenta, and I am seeing the midwife on Wednesday for my 28 week app so I will mention it then.

I guess I am just concerned that the movements don’t seem to be getting any stronger like I was told they would at this stage.

I mentioned it at my 24 week app and the midwife I seen told me it doesn’t matter if you have an anterior placenta , if you don’t feel much movement you need to go straight to get seen.

My issue is that it’s always been like this, I am not feeling any less movement than I have previously I am just not feeling much at all and everywhere I read says I should have a pattern now etc.

I guess I was just wondering if there are any other mums who’s baby’s movement was barely noticeable this far on?

Yes I will mention it to midwife I am not looking for answers just if anyone has experienced the same .

thanks

I would go and get seen just for reassurance alone.

I have anterior and get really strong movements but saturday I have nothing all day. Went in to the birth suite and they monitored. Baby was kicking away but because they were in a position (behind placenta assuming) I couldn't feel a thing!!!
Then they finally moved and I could feel strongly again.

Sometimes I definetely still have those small taps though .

I think they would rather you go, so don't worry about that x

I had anterior placenta with DD and I didn't feel regular movements until probably into the 30ish weeks. I could see her moving though but even near the end unless she had a limb in my ribs or was low down I still wouldn't say I felt regular movements. If you're worried though 100% go and get checked. There were a lot of times when I would look down and my bump was moving but I couldn't feel a thing! X
