Hello.
I have been worried sick since Friday when I felt a small gush around 3pm. When I went to the bathroom there was nothing on my underwear but when I wiped I could see bright red (see first image). I had no cramping or pain and there were no cramps. I have worn a pad but nothing touches it, only when I wipe. Over the last two days that quickly faded to a small very small amount when I wiped. (Image 2-4 this morning) I’ve read so many conflicting opinions but what I’m struggling most with is being overseas.
I live in Sweden at the moment and they will not check me until I am heavy bleeding, passing clots or in severe pain. The call with my midwife was essentially: “Well if you are miscarrying we can do nothing.” Which I understand but I would like to confirm if there is in fact still a pregnancy, if I am miscarrying or is there is another explanation. I hate being in the wait and see limbo, which is not helped by my anxiety.
What I am finding difficult is my sister is an OBGYN and she told me that she would always check blood at the EPU. I feel like I’m in limbo here.
I’m now going to pay £100 to get a private scan tomorrow.
