Small HC and small baby

Please can someone reach out.....small baby under 10th percentile. Hc 6th and has been since about week 24 now week 34. Is this a terrible sign ? Fetal med measured said in normal zone..first baby.....emotional and anxious mum. Struggling to eat or sleep. Dopplers fine.....hg sickness untill about week 21.

Not exactly the same as both my babies were measuring above the 10th during scans but both were actually born under the 10th.

DD1 was 5th, she's 3.5 years old and now on 9th.

DD2 was born on the 8th centile.

Both came home from hospital the same day they were born. They were just small. Placenta etc looked fine after delivery both times.

Also the scans can be up to 20% out x

It varied. So at the 36 week scan they said 3% but she was so low they couldn't get an accurate measurement so they left it off the graph as they felt reading might not he accurate.

At 39 week scan the head measurement was bigger (I can't remember the centile) but it was something like 35 +6 where as I was actually 39+1 the leg and tummy was much closer to her actual gestation. Both had smaller head measurements at birth DD2 was 33.1cm.

I've had 2 really healthy pregnancies and straightforward births so I can only put it down to generics as my family are on the smaller side. Also that graph they use is for both boy and girl babies, I've had 2 girls and they are generally smaller than boys x
