Measuring behind at six weeks - should I be worried?

Hi I am from the UK and I am currently around 6 weeks and 2 or 3 days pregnant, with a strong certainty regarding my ovulation day. Last week, I underwent a scan due to concerns about a possible ectopic pregnancy. Unfortunately, during the scan, they couldn't locate the fetal pole, but they did identify the gestational sac and yolk sac. I was advised to return for another scan within a week. They also checked my HCG levels, which were around 11,000. I spent the entire week worrying after delving into a Google search. In the recent scan, they managed to locate both the yolk sac and fetal pole, which had a heartbeat. I was ecstatic. The sonographer estimated my pregnancy at around 6 weeks, yet the notes indicated a range of 5-6 weeks, with a CRL measurement of 4.5mm. The doctors assured me that there were no concerns and to continue as usual. Comparing the size with my previous pregnancy scan around the same gestational age, which measured 6.4mm, I am now feeling anxious again after searching on Google. Has anyone else experienced a CRL measurement of around 4.5mm at the 6-week mark?

It is way way too early - sounds like they’ve done lots of checks to make sure everything looks good for now. It can feel like such a long wait, but your dating scan will give you the reassurance you need. Try to relax until then with some nice distractions.

Could be absolutely fine, just too early. I know it's super hard and the mind spins but doesnt sound a concern to me x

Do you mind if I ask how this turned out? I’ve had the same thing happen recently and I’m really nervous!
