Should I be worried no symptoms at 6 weeks

I'm currently 6+3 with my first baby
Many years in the making
In the week and maybe half following pregnancy I did have alot of bloating, gas and tiredness.
I then had some severe cramping, is this normal ? My gp said it should be mild yet refused to send me for any bloods and wouldn't refer to epu since the cramping was not accompanied by blood.
Now I'm 6 weeks and for at least the past week and I have zero symptoms. My tummy isn't bloated anymore and I'm not tired . I don't feel pregnant at all and the lack of symptoms is concerning me. It seems from browsing on threads everyone is suffering from symptoms such as bloating , sickness, tiredness ect.
Is this worrying ?
I've got a scanned book for next weekend but I'm just so stressed with worry .
I'm still testing positive and wonder if this could mean I have an empty sac but no baby since hcg has still increased ( going by clearblue digital) as I've read a blighted ovum can still produce hormones.
Anyone have any thoughts

You don't need to worry 😊x

Thankyou for your reassurance.
I guess it worries because I had a previous miscarriage at 4+5 weeks and I experienced a lack of symptoms with it too

I'm the same. Really worried. All my friends have kids and they all had symptoms really early

HP89 · 24/11/2023 20:31

I am exactly the same at 5+5.
had a MMC at 9 weeks and lost all symptoms so very worried now. Let us know how you get on at your scan! Good luck 🤞🏼

This probably won't help but I had lots of symptoms in my last pregnancy but still miscarried so it appears that nothing is a sure fire indicator of whether a pregnancy will be successful or not. Something that helps me now is that you're more likely to have a successful pregnancy than an unsuccessful one so the stats are definitely on your side.

Symptoms and lack of symptoms seem to have no real attachment to the success of a pregnancy based on the amount of people on here who have had either and both scenarios have happened.

plenty with no symptoms who are fine and people who have loads of symptoms who suffer losses

I had no symptoms until 9 weeks when sickness and nausea hit me like a freight train! Please don't worry; everyone is different x

As others have said, anything goes in pregnancy. With my successful pregnancy I didn't have any symptoms until 8weeks+ but with my last miscarriage I had symptoms from the get-go and that pregnancy didn't get past 8weeks. So don't worry yourself.

With my first pregnancy that ended in mc I had nausea and felt pregnant from the beginning and the symptoms completely disappeared overnight. With my successful pregnancy I felt less pregnant but when the symptom eased I thought am going to mc again but I didn't. As PPs say you don't know for sure so all you can do it take it day by day. Good luck!

I had barely any symptoms whatsoever at 6 weeks with first, I must have tested at about week 6 or 7 and other than some chin spots and, uh... suddenly feeling really horny really early on, I hadn't felt different at all.

SpellitwithaY · 24/11/2023 21:54

I had twins and had no symptoms.... Don't worry 🙂

SeaBiscuit19 · 24/11/2023 22:04

I am 14 weeks and have had absolutely no symptoms. Just feel like I’ve eaten one too many kebabs sometimes.
I had an early miscarriage in April and I had really sore boobs, bloating, tummy cramps and a bit of nausea.
Little or no symptoms definitely doesn’t mean anything 😊

FoleyHuck · 24/11/2023 22:07

Try not to worry OP. I'm 12 weeks now and have had very few symptoms really.

I was bloated around week 6 but just for a few days and then that cleared, had some issues with food (always hungry but didn't want anything) for a couple of weeks but then that cleared up too.

Had our scan this week and he or she is bouncing around in there just fine.

lordloveadog · 24/11/2023 22:15

No, you don't need to worry.

Symptoms vary between women and between pregnancies.

Also 6 weeks is very early. I had two pregnancies in which I felt ghastly but it hasn't started at 6 weeks.

Hope you feel well for the rest of the 9 months!

Hi OP I was the same I had a MMC carriage where I didn't really have symptoms so was really worried as in my current pregnancy I also barely had any symptoms. As I got to around 10-11 weeks I had a lot of mild queasiness but nowhere near how I felt with my first pregnancy. I am almost 22 weeks now and all ok. I understand why having been there myself but try not to worry x

Orangepen13 · 25/11/2023 20:35

I had no symptoms until 7/8 weeks, and then felt hideous, so I’d try not to worry and enjoy feeling okay. If you’re really worried the private scans can help
