Loss of symptoms 7w5d

Hi all,

I’m having a major flap as I feel like I’ve gradually lost my symptoms (nausea, food aversions and loss of appetite) over the past few days. They started to tail off on Tuesday and today I feel absolutely nothing. I also had a night sweat last night which I’ve convinced myself is linked to dropping hormones. Has anyone been through similar?

Thanks x

I lost all symptoms around the same time and then they came back with a vengeance around week 9/10.

I know lots of women and have read lots of threads on here of women going through similar things so seems fairly normal.

I now have a 18 month old and pregnant with number 2 which I had no symptoms of throughout the first 12 weeks- no sickness, no loss of appetite etc

@Hiddenvoice thanks so much for the reassurance. This is our 5th pregnancy after 4 losses so feel like I’m on hyper alert at all times.

Congratulations on your baby and your pregnancy. Hope you’re doing ok with it all. It’s such a strange and stressful time!

I’m really sorry about your losses! It’s understandable that loss of symptoms will make you worry.

It’s easier said than done, but try not to worry as lots of us experience no symptoms.
Have you had any contact with a midwife? If so you could always contact and check in for some support.
Would you consider getting a private scan? Might give you some reassurance.

I haven’t but it’s an IVF baby this time so I’ve had a 6 week scan and have an 8ish one next Wednesday. Suppose we’ll just have to see what happens and hope for the best. Thank you for all of the advice though!

Hi @JLB234

Just found your thread as in a similar situation and can't stop scrolling.

I had a Mmc in august this year due to a molar pregnancy I had no sickness.

I fell pregnant again in October, I had an early scan on the 14th November and pregnancy was around 5+5 there was a flickering heartbeat and the doctor said all was fine. Up until Friday last week I had nausea, couldn't open the fridge without heaving, sore boobs and low energy, but since Friday the nausea has completely disappeared I'm so worried that it's another mmc. I have another scan on the 30th November.

I hope your scan is ok

Hi

I am experienced this today. Could I ask please how is your pregnancy progressing?

Thank you

x

I’m currently 19 and a half weeks. Everything was fine! Very normal for it to happen. Try not to lose hope. Hope you’re ok x

@JLB234 thank you so much for answering me. I am losing my mind all day all evening because of this. I had a burst of energy at work today I don't know if t was just adrenaline. Yesterday I was wiped out and stayed in bed. Thank you so much for your message it calmed me down.

Did your symptoms come back after you.original post? hugs to you and your little one!

JLB234 · 14/02/2024 08:01

Don’t worry. I was exactly the same! I actually think I’m more tired in the second trimester because I was just running off pure adrenaline in the first! The only way I can describe it, is that it was like a car alarm constantly going off in my ear for 12 weeks solid so I totally understand how you feel!
They were very on and off until about 11/12 weeks and then they disappeared completely but a couple of my friends lost them at around this stage and they never came back. I was also told by the midwife that it can just happen and every woman is different. Sending lots of good thoughts your way and really hoping everything works out for you ♥️
