Anyone’s labour start as a stitch like pain?

It’s my due date tomorrow and since I woke up I’ve had a stitch like pain (dull ache) in my left side on and off sometimes going round to my back and sometimes going round to my belly, no idea what it could be but hoping it’s things starting anyway! Wondered if anyone else’s labour started like this at all?

Sounds like early labour pains. How are u feeling now

The exact same pain.. for over 12 hours now no different not anything more or less it’s a strange one! Have midwife in the morning for an attempted sweep so we shall see what they say!

I had it about a week before my due date with my third, never had it with my first two. I only had it around a day or so, she was over a week late in the end

I think you should call.your labour ward and describe. Seems pretty unsuual to me especially the consistency. They might want to check it out.

Hey ladies, I had a midwife appointment/sweep this morning and she seemed to think it was nothing to worry about and sounded like it was round ligament pain. It’s gone today too! Baby was all fine at the appointment too, successful sweep so I’m holding onto this weekend!
