Symptoms of low progesterone

Does low progesterone always cause symptoms? Is this something I would be aware of or would I only know via a blood test

@MoonstoneAndRoseQuartz Ask your GP for hormone tests and they'll check for you. I never had any symptoms of it but definitely had quite low progesterone every time I was tested.

@thislittlebird have done this my gp is reluctant and refused. She said they don't do that.
I ve had a blood test before which my progesterone was low aswell as previous miscarriages

@MoonstoneAndRoseQuartz I’d see if you can see another GP, did they say why? It’s very standard to get hormone tests if you’ve been trying to conceive for a while, even more so if you’re over 35, and I really don’t see why they’d refuse if you’ve had miscarriages. See if you can get a second opinion. You can get tested privately through medichecks or elsewhere as well.
