Bleeding and brown blobs at 27 weeks + 3 days

Im 27 weeks pregnant and i went for a wee then a i saw a pool watery res blood, then i wiped and there was blood. Went to triage and they admitted for monitoring, but the baby has kept moving snd heartbeat has been fine.

Red blood bleeding has stopped, now its just brown stringy stuff coming out and brown discharge when i wipe. Midwives are saying hard to tell why the bleed happened as the baby is fine.

has anyone else had this experience?

I haven't had this exact experience but what you've described sounds like what happened to me when my mucus plug came, it's worth having bed rest/monitoring regardless.

Don't let them fob you off

At the moment stayed over for 24 hours, bleeding stopped just getting light brown strands, or light brown discharge when wiping. Baby is still moving well, but i am so worried sick :(

@Limes2021 I know it’s been a while since your post and really hope everything turned out well for you. Just wondering if you could update as I experience the exact same thing now.
