Early scan - 6+2? Later?

Hello, I am pregnant after miscarriage which we are delighted about. I would like to get a reassurance scan. The embryo stopped growing at 8+1 for the last pregnancy. I was thinking about getting a scan at 6+2. Am I being too impatient? Would you wait until 8+2 to get that reassurance that you are past the date of the previous miscarriage?

I’d maybe wait until 7 weeks, that way if your dates are slightly out, you’ll still hopefully see a heartbeat and get that reassurance you’re looking for.

If you go at 6+2 and you ovulated a little later than you thought, it may cause more worry than reassurance.

That said, you have to do what works for you and if that’s going a little earlier to know it’s all in the right place etc, then go for it 😊
