Hi all
This is my first pregnancy. I'm due at the end of Feb 2024. I've really started to struggle with little things such as taking dogs for a walk, cleaning, working, etc. My energy just seems to drain quickly. When I walk uphill or downhill my muscles under my belly, across pelvic bone to my inner thighs hurt/ache. Then last night when sat down as I tried to stand my muscles felt weak and it took me a while to get walking. I've been better today but the pains are still there. I feel baby move which is a good sign. Is this all normal at this stage ? 🤔

Yep and hate to break it to you… it just gets worse 😂 32 weeks tomorrow and so over it!

Afraid so! I have a theory that when baby has growth spurts I get way more tired. I'm 25 + 6 today so due around the same time.

Hills are the WORST! You have to kind of figure out what works best for you. For example, I get stiff and sore if I sit down for too long and then I feel it in my pelvis a lot, but then I also feel it in my back and hips if I'm standing and moving about for too long as well! So finding the balance between sitting, pootling about, and also fitting a good lie down in there as well, usually in the middle of the day 😂

It's not forever! But it's deeply frustrating at the time when you can't do as much as you're used to/you want to.

Im 39+2 and I'm OVER it. I can barely walk, everything hurts, I feel so huge, crowded and compact.

Yep I’m with you, second pregnancy I’m 28 weeks and starting to waddle! X

Weefreetiffany · 13/11/2023 20:48

I feel like that when my iron and magnesium are low and I’m walking too quickly. 29 weeks and knackered here. Trying to keep on top of vitamins and eating healthily. Just want to face plant into chocolate icecream.

I was going to mention iron too - just make sure you’re eating plenty, often and well. But yes it’s tiring! Then I got a mad spurt of energy towards the end so there’s that to look forward to.
