Hi, I had my 6th miscarriage on the 16th of October 2023 (4 weeks ago)
last week I found out I was pregnant again which was confirmed with a blood test.

my first blood test was on the 9th november and result was 6.9
next was on the 11th which was 21.9 so it seemed good as way more than a 60% rise.
todays test was 34.5 which is only a 57-58% rise.

I’ve been prescribed progesterone pessaries and aspirin but I can’t help but think this pregnancy can turn out like the other 6. This is the first time I’ve been given progesterone and aspirin.

has anyone else been through a pregnancy with these kind of levels?

thanks!

I had similar percentage increases, it seems like the 48 hour doubling is quite an old school of thought and around 60% increase over 48 hours with 48-72 hour doubling is acceptable. My levels were higher than yours though. So I guess it also depends on how many dpo you are with your levels as well as the percentage increase.

My levels:
8dp5dt (13dpo) 94.1
10dp5dt (15 dpo) 152

Doubling time 69 hours
48 hour increase 61.5%

14dp5dt 477

Doubling time 58 hours
48 hour increase 77%

I have no idea how many dpo I am as I didn’t think I could get pregnant so soon after my miscarriage 4 weeks ago and didn’t ovulation test which I’m so annoyed at! X
