Period type pains - 34 weeks and 4 days

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar in regards to period type pains around 34 weeks?

I've been having period type pains for the past few days. They're not constant. Come and go in waves (I'll feel it for some time then it'll go for hours then come back and so on)

Do I need to tell anyone? I no longer have a midwife's number who I can contact as the midwife I did have has left. I've not been given contact details for a new midwife

Thanks

It could be braxton hicks or slow labour.

I would get checked out at maternity assessment.

I had a MW appointment yesterday and the MW said that unless they're extremely painful to the point you can't talk/you have a watery loss, they're probably just Braxton hicks to prepare you for the real thing.

I do feel them on a daily basis, at least once every hour - however, they're not unbearable and my waters haven't broken.
