Is this mattress too small for moses basket?

I'm concerned the mattress that came with my moses basket seems a bit small for it, looks like there's a bit of a gap at the top - does it look too small compared to baskets you've had?

I'll buy a new mattress if I need to.

It definitely looks too small for the basket, or perhaps just not the right shape? The one I had with mine went right up to all edges.
Maybe contact the place you bought it and check they gave you the right one. If it was me personally, I probably would not use it x

If I was using it to put the baby in during the daytime, when I’ll be awake and around, I would use it personally.

I wouldn’t use it for night time sleep, but then I wouldn’t use a Moses basket for nighttime sleep at all.

Thanks both. It is just for downstairs daytime but would still want to be on the safe side. I did think it looked smaller than it should be but I've never had one before so I wasn't sure.

I'll report it to the place I got it from but
I was considering buying one of the little green sheep mattresses anyway so I might do that anyway.
