Waters broke or Wee?

Hi all

A bit of an embarrassing story!!

So I'm pregnant with my first and 29 weeks.

Yesterday, me and my partner were having sex and I felt I was going to orgasm. I felt a big rush of liquid come out (quite a lot) then it stopped! I didn't smell the fluid or see the colour as I have dark bed sheets. I don't know whether I wet myself or if my waters have broke. Got a tiny bit of lower back pain today but nothing strong! Feeing baby kicking as normal and there is now nothing.

I wanted to know what people think?

Are you sure you didn't 'squirt'? If you felt you were going to orgasm and then it happened, it's very likely it was purely sexual.

Are you still leaking fluid?

I'd get advice from maternity triage, in case it is your waters.

elaeocarpus · 08/11/2023 18:07

I'd ring your midwife and ask them

HappyHolidays22 · 08/11/2023 18:09

Definitely go to triage to be checked. They always say they would rather you were safe than sorry where checks are concerned. Probably nothing but not worth the risk

I’d go and get checked. They can do a test.

Nope none since!

I still think you should go to maternity triage.
Obviously nobody online can tell if you've got ruptured membranes so even if it's stopped you should get yourself checked.

Hi OP - did you get checked out?
