Successful sweep at 37 weeks?

Has anyone had a successful sweep at 37 weeks?
I had a sweep 36 hours ago at 37.5 weeks.
(Induction planned next week)
MW said she did a “really good sweep” as cervix 2cm, soft, anterior and 50% effaced. Had some cramping immediately after and bloody show after 6 hours. Then no more cramping. Still losing mucus plug and woke up this morning with a bad stomach and loose stools. Could this be the start of labour?
Has anyone else had labour start after a membrane sweep?

Could be the start of something. I had a sweep at 41 weeks and lost the plug but nothing else happened. So I don’t think they do much to be honest

Sweep didn't work for me at 38 weeks. Was also incredibly painful.
