I'd love to hear your rainbow baby stories. Particularly after a late miscarriage.

I need some hope. And please let me know if you did anything differently.

My real ds2 was stillborn 35weeks +2 or 36weeks, depending on your definition of cut off. When no heart beat was detected or actual birth. It wasn't my fault, nothing I could have done would have changed the outcome. Well that is something I tell myself and it is something that happens. It is part of life. Accepting that and giving myself forced break from pregnancy is what happened to me. I desperately wanted another baby the day ds2 milk came in. Well I wanted my ds2, I knew that wasn't possible. My poor body needed a baby and giving ds2 a younger sibling did not seem like a betrayal. My timeline for a bigger family just changed. I have had two more sons after him, that I have had the pleasure to watch and love. Subsequently pregnancies, I did have more risk adverse doctors and nurses. I however, started doing more exercise to reduce my own anxiety and increase the amount of sleep I managed. My period didn't return until the morning of a gp appointment I made. Four months post birth. 💐I hope you get your rainbow baby soon.
