Dark brown blood/spotting

some advice / similar experiences please. I am around 8 week 2 days pregnant based on last period. I had a scan at 7 weeks - all fine and a lovely healthy heartbeat.

I woke up yesterday (Friday) so a show of dark dark brown blood in my underwear, not a lot, size of a 50p TMI sorry!! I have no other symptoms, no pains or cramps etc.

I called the midwife who wasn’t at all concerned told me to pop a pad on and monitor. If it got worse/changed to red blood to call the EPU.

I monitored for a few hours and it didn’t even show on the pad at all however, it’s still there if you insert etc. dark brown, quite running, the odd stringy piece.

I called the EPU who were lovely enough to book me in for a scan tomorrow (Sunday)

Today (Saturday) woke up nothing on the pad, but again still there on the inside so to speak!! So sorry for the info!!

anyone had similar? I can’t help but fear the worse. Nor can I rest until tomorrow 😞

Sorry OP, I know how worrying it can be.

I had similar at 10 weeks (quite a few brown drops and one wipe of red) and panicked, but thankfully all was fine when I went for a scan.

Had another episode of similar at 14 weeks but, again, all fine and no explanation.

The midwife told me it can happen after sex if the cervix gets irritated, but I hadn't had sex so no idea what my trigger was.

I’m so worried. It’s strange like I have no pain, same as you no sex either recently.
it’s very dark and in all honesty doesn’t seem to be coming out now it’s just up there. Sorry no idea how else to explain it.

I have a scan tomorrow morning I’m praying all is ok :(

Mine was the same. I first saw it on a tissue but then I'd only find it if I inserted a q tip (probably not recommended, but I wanted to know!).

I read up lots at the time and most people with brown bleeding have positive stories so hopefully same for you.

I do hope so, I have a scan in the morning. It seems to have really almost gone now.

im still a little worried I made a mistake of doing another test which was lighter however there is still a very obvious line
