Ladies - I am due tomorrow with no signs of labour at all - did you go overdue with your first babies or did you give birth early? Thank you

12 days late with both of mine but pretty good labours, best of luck for when it happens

DramaAlpaca · 02/11/2023 21:11

DS1 was a spontaneous labour at 39+2.

They say most first babies arrive later than their due date, it's just a guide and every woman is different. I have three children and so has my friend, but as I tend to go a bit early and she goes very late, she ended up being pregnant for about five weeks longer in total than I was with the same number of children Grin

Hope things kick off for you soon, OP.

Good luck to you and i hope they come soon! Mine started coming at 10 days late after 2 sweeps and arrived c section 12 days over. Little nightmare! I doubt it will help but try to plan for a long wait and distract yourself. I wish they'd just give due date as a "by this date if you haven't had them we will intervene" it would make it easier I think

38+1 spontaneously with 1st

BrimfulOfMash · 02/11/2023 21:18

Mamato29192 · 02/11/2023 21:19

Pippinpops85 · 02/11/2023 21:20

Good luck! My first was 4 days early after spontaneous labour lasting just shy of 48hrs

wannabe123 · 02/11/2023 21:21

10 days early, 8 days earlier than planned c-section date 🤦🏼‍♀️

Boymummyofone · 02/11/2023 21:21

10 days early, spontaneous. He really wanted out 🤣

Bellesjp · 02/11/2023 21:22

I went into labour on the evening of my due date and she was born the following morning at 40+1!

1992H · 02/11/2023 21:22

40+11, spontaneous for my first, the second graced me with only being 3 days late.

Tambatamba · 02/11/2023 21:23

8 days late. Would never have happened today. I wish they'd have induced me.

HansBanans · 02/11/2023 21:24

11 days early, unplanned induction due to waters going but no contractions etc after 24 hours

Velvetbee · 02/11/2023 21:25

2 weeks early, I didn’t feel ready at all.

Tryingtoconceivenumber2 · 02/11/2023 21:29

EasternBee · 02/11/2023 21:31

11 days late with first

Orangewall · 02/11/2023 21:42

14 damn days overdue with first. I was the only one in my friendship group that did though, the others ranged from 2 weeks early to being born bang on time.

Mummumgem · 02/11/2023 21:48

My first was born 5 week’s early, I was gutted I had stopped work the week before thinking I would have 6 weeks 🙄. My second was 2 weeks early. They were both boys.

my third, my daughter, was 4 days late. She’s still late for everything and she’s 25 now so I suppose there’s no changing her 😂

Savi98 · 02/11/2023 22:05

38+2

Fifthtimelucky · 02/11/2023 22:57

5 days late.

Was born about 9 hours after my waters broke when I was asleep in bed.

BitofaStramash · 02/11/2023 23:02

Induced at 41+5

ebts · 02/11/2023 23:03

37+2

CatchHimDerry · 02/11/2023 23:28

3 sweeps finally kicked things off at 40+11, EMCS at 40+12

Took me ages to twig it was labour though, I thought I was ill 😂

People had warned me you can get sickness, diarrhoea etc. when things are on the move.

Was a solid few hours before I realised it wasn’t poorly tummy cramps if they are now a few minutes apart! 🤦🏼‍♀️

LauraC1984 · 02/11/2023 23:34

Waters broke randomly while I was asleep in bed at 37+2 and LG arrived within 3 hours!
