Pregnant following miscarriage?

Hi ladies!

I had a miscarriage 6 weeks ago (at nearly 12 weeks) and have had a period since then.

Period due again in 6days and this morning I got a faint positive on an early response test. I know I need to wait and see if it gets stronger but I’m dying!

Has anyone had any experience with this? could this be leftover hCG from the miscarriage? Am I getting my hopes up??

Hey lovely sending some love and hugs, I don’t think after 6 weeks you’ll still have any hormones left. After my last visit to hospital 3 weeks after my miscarriage everything had gone back to normal.

so let’s hope the same with you and let’s hope it’s right and you’ve got a bfp.

id wait a few more days and test again.

its really hard being pregnant again after miscarriage and I know really close to your last will be so hard and confusing. But stay positive x

It is possible to still have positives 6 weeks after MC (I did) - have you taken any other tests between the MC and now? If not I’d say wait 2 days then do another test (ideally same brand/type etc.) and see if you can see some progression. Fingers crossed for you!
