Hi 👋 I thought I would start a thread as I can't find anything on being a pregnant mum of a large family. Just wondering if there are others who are pregnant after having several children already. Just fancy a natter about large family life and how pregnancy is when you've carried lots of children previously.
I am currently 20+3 pregnant with baby number 8 (this is my 9th pregnancy first was MC). I definitely feel more pregnant this time a bit like my body is saying "this is the last you're getting old 😂and have done this plenty" I am deffo more tired and achey this time and was more ill in the first trimester.
Is there anybody the same?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hi, not quite at your level but am on baby number 4, but I also have 2 DSC so will be the 6th child in the house! Agree re it being hard to find others with quite this many kids 😆 it’s my 8th pregnancy, have had 4 MC/MMCs too. Ours are currently 11, 11, 7, 7 and 5 but 3 of them have birthdays within a month of baby’s due date so will have 12, 11, 8, 7, 6 and a newborn. And we also have a puppy 😁 I’m 19+4 so only a little bit behind you. Pregnancy hasn’t been too bad so far, there’s 20 months between my little 2 and that was pretty brutal - I was in a lot of pain with SPD with my 3rd, I can feel it kicking in this time but it’s very manageable atm so I’m hoping it stays that way!

@ohmygoshREALLY sorry to hear about your mc/mmc. Mine are 12, almost 11 almost 10, 6,5,3,20 months and I'm 20+ weeks...the shortest gap is between baby 2 and 3 (13 months). I find being a mum much easier and I'm more calm/patient than when I only had 3 but my gosh the pregnancies seem harder, possibly because I'm non stop with the others ha, I feel you on the spd it's awful thankfully this time round I'm OK at the minute (I've had it as early as 7 weeks previously) I'm hoping baby girl doesn't cause me any trouble and I can still move as I get further along. We have 5 boys this will be our 3rd girl (I also have a DSS however he is now 20 and lives in another country so doesn't add to the chaos ha). I'm glad pregnancy is going well. You'll be having a 20 week scan soon I guess.
