Period-like cramps 14 weeks

Hello - being a worrier here!

I have been getting mild, central period-like cramps at 14 weeks. I had these during the first trimester and they stopped around 11 or 12 weeks. I've been getting the short sharp round ligament pains in my side very occassionally but I'm back to feeling like my period is due today.

Anyone else experience this and how did things go?

I know I'm probably worrying unnecessarily but would appreciate any reply x

Hey - my due date is tomorrow and I have had pregnancy cramps my whole pregnancy - it’s absolutely normal according to my midwife and OB, so I am sure all is well - good luck with the pregnancy xxx

Are you drinking enough? Try drinking some big glasses of water. Might help.

Sorry I meant period cramps not pregnancy cramps!
trust me I asked at least 5 separate medical professionals about this as I have been sooo worried about it and they all said the same - womb is stretching to accommodate the baby - as long as it stays mild and doesn’t progress it’s absolutely fine! Good luck lovely, all will be well xxx

I remember quite severe pains in my sides at that stage in my first pregnancy. I even had to take a day off work as was so intense. Was also told it was the womb stretching, and I don't remember it being an issue for more than a few days.
