34 weeks growth scan:
Couldn't get the head, femur 73%, stomach 36% and weight 3lbs 15oz (27%)

36 week growth scan:
Head 56%, femur 72%, stomach 24% and weight 5lbs 8oz (19%)

Both done on the date I turned 34/36 weeks

They said they'd check over the results to make sure baby is following their pattern but the percentile has dropped with stomach and weight.

What do you think? Should I be concerned at all? Next growth scan due in 4 weeks (my due date) so they can't be concerned themselves!

TIA x

I had 36 week growth scan this week and my baby had increased a bit in size but this time they couldn't get a head measurement but they did last time.

She told me the head measurement can really change the percentage so as they could include it this time for you maybe that's brought the average down. They also said to me they only get concerned if baby drops below 10%. I'm sure if they were worried they would have booked you in again sooner x

Great thanks! I went on my Grow app and it does show the baby is following their line of growth, only dipped ever so slightly!

What did your baby weigh at 36 weeks? Xx

They estimated between 4lbs 12oz and 5lbs 12ozs. She said as they couldn't get a head measurement more likely towards the lower end. I think estimated birth weight is 7lbs.

DC1 was 6lbs 1oz born at 40+2 and perfectly healthy, home within a few hours so I'm not really worried. She's now 3 and still petite but doing well. Im not big and none of my family are either so expecting another small ish baby x

I do think that a lot of these scans end up being inaccurate.
Goodness knows how.

When I've been saying 34 weeks, I meant 32 😅🤦🏼‍♀️

Aww! :) My first was 6lbs 6oz at 39+2 and he's such a big boy now! Very tall and stocky.
