Hi due to pain and bleeding I’ve just had an ultrasound and they said the sac was empty but it could be too early to see. I’m 5w3d, has anyone else had this and gone onto see the sac later and it’s now successful?

i wouldn't expect to see much at that stage. still in with hope

At 5wks and 6 days with an internal scan with my first. I had a sac and heart beat. This could only be seen through an internal scan, it didn't pick up on a standard ultra sound. I do have a tilted uterus though.

Don't give up hope. I had two miscarriages before my first. A difficult first pregnancy and then a 2nd that was a walk in the park in comparison. Both are now a teen and a pre-teen.

I've got everything crossed for you.

It’s probably too early to tell at that stage. Was there no sac or was the sac empty?

1111hope · 01/11/2023 15:36

He just said empty. I’ve just done a test and the line was really faint now so I think I’m definitely miscarrying :(
