Babymoon ideas?

Hi ladies

We are looking to book a last minute babymoon for next week (I’ll be 22 weeks pregnant).

Looking for recommendations for where to go?

We have been looking at either Canary Islands, Cyprus or Turkey..

Where would you recommend and where would you avoid?

ignore the sarcastic responses above 🙄 mumsnet can be a strange place!

i went to Mykonos and it was perfect as wasn’t too hot and our hotel was a short walk from the town. I would say look at places where you have what you need close as you may not want to walk long distances or sit in a hot taxi for a long time. Also make sure you research the hotel as there were some very lively ones where we went but luckily I’d put the time in to just fine one that was nice and chilled. Hope you have a fab time!

Mumsnet isn't strange. Calling it a babymoon is strange. It's a holiday. However @Sammie1990 is correct, Mykonos is lovely.

Def. make sure the hotel isn't too lively and choose a room carefully away from reception/bar. I would go for a somewhere smaller with a nice pool if you wanted to get some swimming in?

I just got back from Mykonos and it was beautiful, low to mid 20s during the day. Good food, beaches and wasn't busy as it's off peak.

We went to Agadir in Morocco when I was 22 weeks. It was fab and with it being a Muslim country the selection of alcohol free cocktails was amazing. The town was lovely with a nice port area and there was plenty of day trips etc to do our hotel also did a pregnancy massage which was lovely. The Moroccan people were some of the nicest people I've ever come across and all of the pre conceptions I had and all of the negative things people had said about Morocco were completely untrue

Canaries are nice this time of year. The west/north west of Tenerife is quieter than the south. Look at La Caleta and Alcala.

We just got back from Dubai. I'd highly recommend it. Great food, delicious alcohol free drinks and amazing service all round.
