Can I take this cough syrup?

Hello, I'm 24 weeks pregnant and for the last few days I've had the most annoying dry tickly cough that is driving me round the bend. I have this syrup but can't seem to get a straight answer from google. Does anyone know if this is safe?

When I was pregnant with one of my kids I had an awful cough and asked the pharmacist about cough medicine etc. She advised me just to take hot water with honey and lemon, avoid syrups etc. Maybe go into a pharmacy and ask what's safe as this was a while ago.

If its just glycerol it should be fine

I had whooping cough whilst pregnant. The only stuff the GP would allow me was something called Simple Linctus. Wasn't very helpful. Honey and lemon worked better.
